There are many ways to preserve real flowers but mostly these methods make the flower brittle or dry. Flowers can be preserved in different ways: hanging and pressing or using various drying agents such as sand, homemade mixtures, or silica gel. Flowers can even be freeze dried.

Everroses are different. An Everrose is a natural rose in which a proprietary solution, that does not evaporate, replaces the water or sap in the plant material, leaving the plant supple and long-lasting. To achieve this result, the roses are grown, harvested and then processed at just the right cut point for optimal quality.

Our Naturelast™ process contains a non toxic moisturizer similar to that used in premium soaps and skin care products. Everroses are also ideal for people who are allergic to cut flowers because the treated roses are hypo allergenic. They are an excellent choice as gifts for people in hospitals and nursing homes.

The technology used in treating Everroses, involves the use of a physical-chemical process which replaces the sap of the fresh flower with polyhydroxylated composites. Replacing the water in the cells with these substances stops the development of saprophytic microorganisms (fungi or bacteria that grow in dead organic material). The Naturelast™ process fills the space once occupied by water in the flower, thereby maintaining the fresh look and soft touch of the flowers. Since the roses do not require any water or maintenance there is no risk of spills or foul smelling water.

Using our proprietary Naturelast™ technology, Everroses will last for six months or longer. However, they must be used indoors, in comfortable room temperature conditions and must be kept out of high humidity and direct sunlight.
